I think the assumptions are that Dew S A is 1/3 of each of its parts; Code Red, White Out and Voltage. However, I don’t think that Mtn Dew would just go with an even split since the outcome might NOT be the optimal taste combination. So, I got out my handy measuring glass and did the 1/3 split to test it out.
In the above picture the Dews shown from left to right are; Game Fuel, my custom mix, Grape (from Japan), Electrifying Berry, Dew SA and Supernova. To see more on the colors check out my post Mtn Dew Flavors by the Color that I did a year ago. I’d say the 1/3 mixture is a reddish purple making it closer to Mtn Dew Grape and Dew SA is a light purple making it closer to Mtn Dew Supernova.
The mixture has a strong berry smell; I think mainly a combination of the Voltage and Code Red stand out. As for the taste it really confused my palate because there is a lot going on there. It’s more of a melody of berry and citrus flavors, almost similar to a citrus black berry or wild berry taste. I’d say it tastes pretty good but next time I might leave out the White Out. It ends with a slight berry after taste and no sweet taste.
I would also like to point out that there were no artificial sweeteners in the Dews I used.
