Mountain Dew Every 2 Minute Contest

While the online auctions begin later this Fall, the Mountain Dew and Doritos brands are giving some of the most passionate gaming fans a chance to get their hands on Xbox One during a LIVE auction at PAX Prime 2013 in Seattle, Wash. on Sunday, September 1. Thirty Xbox One entertainment systems will be on the auction block and six grand prize auction winners will actually receive the next-generation console before it becomes available for public sale.

In commemoration of the biggest gaming promotion in the history of the Mountain Dew and Doritos brands, DEW is bringing back tried and true gamer-favorite Mountain Dew Game Fuel in original Citrus Cherry and a new, Electrifying Berry flavor. Products will hit shelves in early October and are available for a limited time only.

The Doritos brand will also introduce a bold new snacking option – Doritos Gamer Pack – to its line-up this October. Designed specifically with gamers in mind, the new limited-edition Doritos Gamer Pack offers fan-favorite Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored chips in a conveniently packaged, re-sealable, wide-opening table-top box, so gamers can snack easier and play harder. The new Doritos Gamer Pack will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide beginning in October.

That electrifying berry is hard to find, but I wont give up! Did you have any trouble finding it in stores?

    • MtnDewKid says:

Well, down in Texas either we get stuff way late in the promotions or never at all. This is one that’s not in stores around here yet; or maybe never at all.

  2. Jon says:

Do you have any new information on the 2014 mtn dew fuel? I did an online chat with a dew rep and they told me they weren’t producing it at this time but that doesn’t make sense. People are obviously buying this stuff. I’ve seen two listings on ebay. One from Pennsylvania and one in Ohio. I’ve also have a friend in michigan who has. He told me game fuel replaced baja basically. I supposedly have a walmart 55 miles north with it but do I dare waste my time? It shows the new artwork on walmarts website, so I guess it’s true. I’ll let you know if I decide to go tomorrow.

    • MtnDewKid says:

I havent seen it for sale yet and havent heard any thing officially either. I do have a few contacts at PepsiCo I will contact now that I’m back from vacation.

      • Jon says:

I called that walmart and they didn’t know what I was talking about. I also gave them that UPC code and it didn’t help. So I’m not going waste my time on that trip.

        • MtnDewKid says:

I bet it was the game fuel from last year; they just never removed it from their site.

          • Jon says:

I don’t think so. Walmarts site has it up with the new artwork. They also have previous game fuels but when I search the stores it doesn’t appear.

          • MtnDewKid says:

I see it now. I checked Michigan and Ohio zip codes and they have it in stock but nothing for Texas major zip codes.
